Terms & Conditions

PROGRAM COST EXCLUSIONS

Passport and visa fees (if required); personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, or meals not specified; travel insurance (accident, health, baggage, or trip cancellation); optional sightseeing excursions; baggage fees on flights; local and international airport taxes; airfare and associated taxes or surcharges not listed under “Program Cost Inclusions”; transfers or baggage handling outside the scheduled program dates; and all other services not specifically mentioned as included.

PROGRAM SIZE

The Gentleman accommodates a maximum of 172 guests.

PROGRAM COST INCLUSIONS

Enrichment and entertainment programs; seven nights aboard The Gentleman; all meals onboard and beverages as described in the “Inclusions” section; all guided excursions listed in the itinerary; welcome and farewell receptions; and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the ship.

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT

A deposit of $950 per person is due at the time of booking, plus an additional $250 per person for the post-cruise program. Final payment is due 120 days before departure. Mastercard, Visa, American Express, or Discover may be used to make payments. Payments may also be made by check, payable to Gulf Coast Symphony, and mailed to:

CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to DanubeCruise26@gulfcoastsymphony.org

  • Up to 120 days prior to departure: $950 per person cancellation fee for the cruise program and $250 per person for optional pre- or post-cruise programs.
  • 119 days or fewer before departure: Full forfeiture of all monies paid.

INSURANCE

Trip cancellation and medical insurance are highly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Many providers waive pre-existing condition exclusions if insurance is purchased within 14 days of your initial deposit. Transcend Cruises and the Gulf Coast Symphony are not responsible for any costs or losses due to cancellation, medical emergencies, delays, or lost luggage.

We strongly recommend all travelers purchase travel insurance. We have partnered with Faye Travel Insurance to provide you with excellent options. It is up to you to determine what policy is right for you.

*Important Travel Protection Disclosure
Gulf Coast Symphony offers Faye Travel Protection as an optional add-on to your travel experience. This coverage applies only to the covered trip and does not replace other insurance you may already have, such as health, auto, homeowners, life, or credit-card benefits. Coverage terms, limits, and restrictions may vary.
Purchase of travel protection is not required to participate in any Gulf Coast Symphony program or tour. Gulf Coast Symphony staff are not licensed insurance agents and cannot advise on coverage suitability or answer detailed policy questions. For specific benefit information, exclusions, or to determine whether this coverage meets your needs, please consult a licensed insurance professional or directly speak with a Faye Insurance representative. AIR ARRANGEMENTS

Airfare is not included in the program price. Transcend Cruises assumes no responsibility for airline penalties related to non-refundable tickets or changes in flight schedules. Your airline ticket constitutes a separate contract between you and the carrier.

HEALTH & MOBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Participants should be in good general health and capable of independent mobility. Guests must be able to embark/disembark the ship, board motorcoaches, and navigate steps without assistance. Any physical limitations, medical conditions, or dietary requirements must be disclosed at the time of booking. Travelers requiring special assistance must travel with a companion responsible for their needs. PREPARING FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Comprehensive pre-departure materials, including packing tips and travel details, will be provided prior to embarkation.

CHANGES TO ITINERARY, PROGRAM, OR COSTS

Transcend Cruises reserves the right to modify the itinerary, accommodations, program dates, or staffing as necessary to ensure the best possible guest experience. All pricing is based on prevailing fuel costs and currency exchange rates at the time of publication and is subject to change without notice.

RESPONSIBILITY

Transcend Cruises acts solely as an agent for guests regarding transportation, accommodations, and related travel services. Participation in this program constitutes acceptance of all terms and acknowledgment of inherent travel risks. Transcend Cruises and its affiliates, officers, employees, or agents are not liable for personal injury, death, delay, loss, or damage to person or property arising from any cause beyond their control, including but not limited to:
acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government restrictions, epidemics, weather, or mechanical failure of transport.

Transcend Cruises reserves the right to:

  • Decline participation or remove any guest whose behavior disrupts the enjoyment or safety of others, without refund.
  • Substitute vessels, hotels, or transport services of comparable standard as necessary.
  • Cancel or modify the program at any time. In such cases, liability is limited to the refund of payments received.

Guests are responsible for additional costs incurred from weather delays, flight changes, or unforeseen circumstances. Baggage remains the sole responsibility of the owner at all times.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal data provided by participants is treated confidentially and shared only as needed with service providers directly involved in the program. Participants may opt out of having their contact information shared on the pre-departure roster by notifying Transcend Cruises in writing.

PHOTOGRAPHY NOTICE

By participating, guests consent to the use of their likeness in photos or videos captured during the journey. Such images may be used by Transcend Cruises or the Gulf Coast Symphony for promotional purposes without compensation.
